AR Expeditions Submission Guidelines

Submissions are accepted on a continual basis.

AREXPEDITIONS is committed to:

  • encouraging practicioner, academic, theoretical, methodological and practical research in the field of action research,
  • promoting and supporting dialogue and professional growth among action researchers and
  • broadening the circle of action research practitioners in educational settings.

AR Expeditions - Guidelines for Submission

AREXPEDITIONS connects formal and informal education, academic interests and professional development to action-based research. Through action research experiences, participants come to appreciate the importance of responsible action and empowerment in their professional development and change in the social fabric of their culture. The journal focuses on personal and shared paths leading to individual accomplishment and social change. In addition, educators examine their role and their own actions in the process of positive change within the professional world. AREXPEDITIONS offers research and theories, strategies, tips and techniques to readers. It is dedicated to disseminating research-based and practical information to action researchers, educators, administrators, university faculty and government officials.

We invite you to submit articles for publication in AREXPEDITIONS, a web-based professional publication of the Department of Education at Montana State University. Journal articles will be published monthly. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.

Although we welcome submissions from all action research practitioners, preference will be given to articles from educators. We look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to email us if you would like to discuss your proposed contribution.
